just a quick blog. had brendon’s 21st tonight. it was pretty good all things considered. (the party was, prevailing circumstances weren’t). i went early to help out, cos i offered ages ago and he accepted. which was funky, not that i did that much.. turns out there wasn’t really that much left to do LOL.
but once the party got underway it was heaps good. took lots of photos :D gave my new digital camera a good spin, so at least i know it works :D i’ll see about putting some of the pics up.
i was really touched that my bro mentioned me in his speech. maybe because things between me and him haven’t been so good lately, and i think we’ve drifted quite far apart. i guess it was good to know that i still mean a lot to him despite everything. so i decided i should try to fix things between us, and if he does as well, then we will get somewhere.
i guess the night would’ve been really good except mike and i were ignoring each other. and well, to me it’s cos he ignored me first, and i did make an effort and say hi when he got there, but i dunno. maybe we’re both just being stubborn and stupid. maybe he’s more like me than i realise. i’m not sure what to make of it, but it hurts like hell.
